Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is drawn up in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act and sets out the terms and conditions for the processing of personal data collected through the artina.si website, which is operated by Tina Djilas s.p. (hereinafter referred to as the “Provider”).


Protection of personal data

The Provider collects personal data from customers through the artina.si website and in its physical branches. The Provider, as the personal data controller, processes the collected personal data in accordance with the applicable legislation on personal data protection.

Our policy on the protection of personal data is as follows:

  • We never rent, sell or allow our customers’ data to be processed by any third party other than our contracted personal data processors.
  • We only allow contractual processors to process personal data on the condition that they have a sufficient level of protection of personal data as set out in applicable law.
  • We keep personal data for as long as is necessary for the fulfilment of the purpose for which it was collected or until the consent of the data subject is withdrawn.
  • We are committed to protecting all personal data of our customers at all times. It is also the registered customer’s responsibility to protect their personal data by ensuring that their username and password are secure and that their device is protected by anti-virus software.
  • We only process personal data by authorised persons of the provider and authorised persons of our contractual processors.
  • We will amend and update the data protection rules in the future in line with changes in data protection legislation.

Collection of personal data and how to consent to their processing

  • The provider collects personal data over a secure connection (SSL) and protects it by encryption during its transmission over the internet.
  • The Provider collects and processes personal data solely on the basis of the individual’s consent.
  • In the case of contacting the provider via contact forms, the personal data entered will be used exclusively for the purpose of sending a reply to the question or enquiry. The data will be transferred to the provider’s e-mail inbox via e-mail. The customer expresses his consent by pressing the send button.
  • On all other online forms involving the submission of personal data, the consents are indicated as optional fields and the customer indicates his/her consent by ticking the consent box. The consent given shall be taken into account when the online form is validated.
  • Consents, which include acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions, are required to validate the online form.

Purpose of the processing of the personal data collected

  • The Provider will use the personal data solely for the purpose for which it was collected and for which it has the consent of the individual.
  • We will use the personal data of the customers of the online shop exclusively for the purposes of managing their user accounts (sending email notifications whenever there is a change in the status of their user account) and fulfilling their orders (sending email notifications whenever there is a change in the status of an order, e.g. when an order is placed, when payment is received, when goods are dispatched, when they are delivered, when an invoice is sent, when a complaint is made, when a warranty is invoked and other order-related follow-ups).
  • We will only use the personal data of customers who have consented to receive notifications of our news, events and offers to inform them in the way they choose (email, SMS) up to once a month.
  • We will use the personal data of customers who send us a message via the contact form on the website solely to respond to the question or enquiry.

Procedure for exercising your rights

  • For any information concerning the processing of personal data or the rights of the data subject (right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection), you may contact the data controller Artina, Tina Djilas s.p., Kriška vas 58, 1294 Višnja Gora, by post, by e-mail to tina@artina.si or by telephone to 040 828 681.
  • Customers with a user account on the website can modify their personal data in their profile without restriction.
  • The controller will respond to your request to exercise your rights in relation to personal data without undue delay and at the latest within one month of receipt of the request.
  • For the purposes of reliable identification in the event of the exercise of rights relating to personal data, the controller may request additional data from you, but may refuse to act only if it demonstrates that it cannot identify you reliably.

Unsubscribe from notifications

  • You can unsubscribe from receiving email notifications at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the email you receive. You can opt-out of receiving notifications by GSM number by sending us a return message with the subject “Unsubscribe” or by notifying us of your preference in writing to the company address or in person at the office where you gave your consent.
  • If you are still receiving notifications despite unsubscribing, we sincerely apologise for this and ask that you bring this to our attention immediately.

Right of appeal

  • If you believe that our processing of your personal data violates applicable data protection legislation, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner at the Information Commissioner’s Office, Zaloška cesta 59, 1000 Ljubljana, telephone 01 230 97 30, e-mail gp.ip@ip-rs.si.

The contact forms on this website are protected by Google reCAPTCHA and are therefore subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
